Kenya is a nation of immense promise: richly endowed, strategically positioned, and sustained by a resilient, hardworking and capable people.
Its Constitution provides a progressive framework for democratic government, devolution, social justice and inclusive development. Yet the promise of the nation remains unevenly realised. Persistent inequality, poverty, misuse of public resources, weak accountability and uneven respect for the rule of law continue to diminish opportunity and human dignity.
The Service Party (TSP) believes that Kenya’s transformation is possible; that it ultimately depends on leadership that keeps its word, respects the law, safeguards public resources and measures progress by the well-being of ordinary citizens.
As a Party that prides itself as founded as a national party rooted in the grassroots and the everyday realities of Kenyan households, we believe that politics and economics must ultimately serve people.
Further, we believe in enterprise that creates prosperity, government that serves responsibly, communities that have agency, and a society in which no one is denied the dignity of a decent life.
Consequently, our politics are anchored in the belief that markets and entrepreneurship are legitimate engines for jobs and wealth creation, innovation and service delivery, BUT must operate in compliance with specific social obligations. And that social protection is a critical lever of social justice and human dignity.
Our clarion call of Twajiamini backs up our commitment to enterprise and personal agency on the one hand and community and responsibility and social floor beneath every Kenyan on the other.
We believe that all politics is ultimately local and all development must be about improving people’s lives. We therefore champion devolution, taking decision-making ever closer to the people, equitable allocation of public resources and practical, issue-based leadership focused on the fundamentals of household and community well-being: food security, productive agriculture, decent livelihoods, thriving small businesses, quality public services and dignified living conditions.
TSP seeks therefore seeks to translate citizens’ lived realities into public policy and government action. We shall pursue leadership and influence across community, civic, economic and political life, not as a vehicle for political convenience, but as an enduring, purpose-driven movement committed to building a just, inclusive and prosperous Kenya.
