Why TSP Party Kenya?

Politics must serve people

The Service Party (TSP) was fully registered on 5 June 2020. Our conviction is simple: politics must serve people.

In 2022, our first general election, we fielded 260 candidates in 31 counties and finished 13th of 78 parties by number of votes garnered. We returned 2 Members of Parliament, 6 elected MCAs and 4 nominated MCAs in Laikipia, Tharaka Nithi, Embu, Isiolo and Kirinyaga.

Since then, within the complex realities of Kenya's politics, we have grown politically gathered lessons that now shape how we organise.

01

Running a party costs money

Kenya’s political and legal rules have a real price. TSP has to pay its way like any other organisation.

02

A few counties first

Roots in a few counties matter more than a thin presence everywhere.

03

Issues people can name

Pick a few issues Kenyans can name, then take them into policy and into the home.
